Purpose of the Role

The Boys’ Vice President (VP) supports the Board President in executing the mission of the Norwin Lacrosse Club (NLC) with a focus on the growth, quality, and success of the Boys’ lacrosse program. The VP serves as a liaison between the boys’ teams, coaches, parents, and the Board, ensuring that operations run smoothly and in compliance with Club and league standards.

Note: The Boys’ VP represents the interests of all boys’ teams, U8 through U14, and assists commissioners and coaches in delivering a positive and safe experience for all players.

Core Responsibilities

  1. In the absence or disability of the President, perform the duties of the President.
  2. Serve as the Club’s WPYLA representative and attend all WPYLA Meetings
  3. Oversee the Boys Schedulers and Food Truck Coordinators
  4. Assist Pres. with all coach recruitment efforts
  5. Provide updates to BOD on all WPYLA changes, etc
  6. Coordinate Picture Nights for the Boys program
  7. Coordinate Youth Night for the Boys program...utilize contact with the HS LAX program boosters
  8. Coordinate the Boys Year End Tournament with the President.
  9. Coordinate any other Tournaments with schedulers (approval needed if cost associated)
  10. Coordinate with President, uniform organization and distribution for Boys
  11. Create a Boys VP’s Important Information” list to be handed down to the next Boy’s VP
  12. Perform other functions as prescribed by the Board and the President.
