Tournament Registration Guide
Overview
Registration for Tournament and other Play-Date events is typically done per team rather than the traditional per player process. Head Coaches should complete the registration, and will then have the ability to invite their players to register for their team. This guide should help you navigate this process.
Register Your Team
| 1 | From the Registration Listing, click the “Register Now” button under the event (e.g. MS Girls Lax-o-Ween Playdate). |
| 2 | You may then be prompted to login to your existing SportsConnect account, or to create a new account. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this process. |
| 3 | After you’ve logged in, you should be directed to the “What would you like to do today?” page. Click the “Register Myself” option. |

| 4 | On the following page titled, “Which best describes you?” select the “Volunteer or Team Staff” option. |

| 5 | The only option on the next page should be “Head Coach” for the selected event (e.g. MS Girls Lax-o-Ween Playdate). Select this option. |

| 6 | Next, you will prompted to enter your team name. Enter your team name and click “CONTINUE.” Click the Continue button again once the dialog box closes. |

| 7 | Enter your information in the form and click “Continue.” |

| 8 | Follow the instructions to submit payment and complete checkout. |

Invite Players and Staff
Once you’ve registered your team for the event, you can enter the Team Management page to invite Assistant Coaches and Players.
| 1 | While logged in with your Head Coach account, select Team Central > Team Directory from the norwinlax.com homepage. |

| 2 | Click the “Team Home” button to navigate to your team hub. |

| 3 | Click the “Roster” tab from the Team Home page, then click the “Manage Roster Invites” button. |

| 4 | There are several subsections on this page where you can send email invites to parents to register their player(s) as well as send invites for additional team staff. This will send a pre-filled email invite out to the recipient to register for this particular event. Since registration is paid by team, the team will be responsible for collecting fees from their players if applicable. |
