Purpose of the Role

 

The Girls’ Vice President (VP) supports the Board President in executing the mission of the Norwin Lacrosse Club (NLC) with a focus on the growth, quality, and success of the Girls’ lacrosse program. The VP serves as a liaison between the girls’ teams, coaches, parents, and the Board, ensuring that operations run smoothly and in compliance with Club and league standards.

 

Note: The Girls’ VP represents the interests of all girls’ teams, U8 through U14, and assists commissioners and coaches in delivering a positive and safe experience for all players.

Core Responsibilities

  1. In the absence or disability of the President, perform the duties of the President.
  2. Serve as the Club’s WESL representative and attend all WESL Meetings
  3. Oversee the Girls Schedulers and Food Truck Coordinators
  4. Assist Pres. with all coach recruitment efforts
  5. Provide updates to BOD on all WESL changes, etc
  6. Coordinate Picture Nights for the Girls program
  7. Coordinate Youth Night for the Girls program...utilize contact with the HS LAX program boosters
  8. Coordinate the Girls Year End Tournament with the President.
  9. Coordinate any other Tournaments with schedulers (approval needed if cost associated)
  10. Coordinate with President, uniform organization and distribution for Girls
  11. Create a Girls VP’s Important Information” list to be handed down to the next Girl’s VP
  12. Perform other functions as prescribed by the Board and the President.
